Come join the Power and Sail Fleet for the annual "burning of the socks", an annual maritime tradition where sailors and boaters burn their winter socks* to celebrate the end of winter and welcome warmer weather and the start of the boating season. Please bring your nasty old winter socks to burn in the firepit and hear how this joyous tradition got started. The weather is expected to be great so join us at the point to celebrate the coming boating season.
*cotton or wool recommended

Shrimp Boil and hot dogs with chips. You can also bring a dessert to share!
Wine, beer, sodas and water will be provided, all for the low, low cost of $20.00 per person. Event begins at 12:00 with beverages, food service begins about 1:00pm
