Welcome to the Power Fleet! We are a group of boaters within the Mount Vernon Yacht Club that shares a passion for cruising Potomac River, and who you can always count on for good camaraderie and fun times!

With over 90 power vessels in the Club, you can always find at least a few of our members somewhere on the water, enjoying a cruise to the Old Town or DC docks, down south to Occoquan, Cole’s Point, and beyond!

We host a few fun, family friendly raft ups throughout the season, cruise the Fleet to some of our favorite local Marinas, and kick off the spring season each year by burning our socks in celebration of the equinox! All our welcome to join the fun, no matter what kind of boater you are (power, sail, paddle, or just dreaming)!
