Log-in Instructions
From the helm of the PowerFleet:
Join members of the Powerfleet, Sailfleet and Toonfleet and members of other marinas and clubs in a unique experience for our guests at George Washington’s Mount Vernon on Saturday, June 14 as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of Washington taking command of the Army.
Boaters will meet at buoy 67 by 11:30 am on the 14th of June, Jay Spiegel, the event coordinator, will lead us off at 12:00 to cruise up the Potomac to the Mount Vernon channel entrance, after entering the Mt Vernon channel, we pass by Mount Vernon and then progress out the area over by Little Hunting Creek, turning starboard toward Piscataway Creek. Once back in the channel boaters can stay for the 2:30 pm fireworks, or return to port, whatever they prefer.
Jay's boat is a one of a kind 24 ft mahogany speedboat, the name is The Sheik.
One note of caution, if we get the numbers of boats Jay is hoping for (100 or so) boaters are encouraged to move away from the exit point to give everyone else room to navigate. Working channel is 72.
